Casting a mold with 11 t of molten iron from two ladles
Shaping and casting area for castings weighing up to 20,000 kg and a maximum casting height of 6 meters. 2 cranes with a load capacity of 80 tons each
Sand mixer with a pump capacity of 40-60 t per hour
After only ten months of planning and construction, in 2002 new foundry facilities went into operation. The capital expenditure of ¬ 6 million was co-financed by the EU's European fund for regional development in Brussels with additional support from the Investitions- und Strukturbank (ISB, Mainz) and state funds:
