The use of the latest techniques for process control goes without saying, just as a high degree of procurement reliability must be ensured for raw materials.

In our modern MF electric smelter operation it is indispensable to use the highest grade input materials and strictly observe the alloy and auxiliary elements when processing ferrous material containing spheroidal graphite. This is especially true for EN-GJS-400-18 U LT grade material for cold temperature service which is also used for wind turbine components.

Accounting for 85% of our production output, the grades EN-GJS-400 to EN-GJS-700 are the materials most commonly found in our production range.

HegerGuss produces grade cast iron. These products can be recognized by the Q incorporated within the casting.
